About LinkBacksI did a search on the forums, but no recent posts came up. Most of the information on this site is targeted towards iphones with firmware 1.0.2 and above, so I was wondering what is the best path to take regarding unlocking an iphone with 1.0.1 firmware? The iphone is activated but not jailbroken. Any ideas?

are you unlocked beacuse if you are you have to virginze then restore to 1.1.4 and run either iplus/ilberty or pawnge if you want

No, the iphone has never been unlocked. I'm trying to find the best way to unlock a 1.0.1 iphone, i dont know if its virgin or not because its been activated, but not jailbroken.

if its never been unlocked then all you have to do is restore to 1.1.4 and unlock with iplus/ilberty. All you have to do is download the 1.1.4 ipsw and hit shift while hitting restore then choose 1.1.4ipsw once itunes is done run either ilplus or ilberty. There is a guide at hackthatphone.com
