Hey everybody!

I'm having huge problems with downgrading my iPhone...

First and foremost, when i try to restore in iTunes i get a fail a fail 1011 or 1604, nomatter what firmware version. Sometimes iTunes gets stuck at "waiting for iPhone" and stays there.
If itry to kick the phone out of restoremode with iliberty+, it says "phone cannot make or recieve calls and says IMEI: Unknown | ICCID: Unknown | No WiFi | Bootloader: Unknown. And the guides I have found to fix this states that i have to restore to 1.0.2, which I can't. Now when I'm in this stage I can acutally make iliberty jailbreak, unlock and activate, but ghen it gets to chacking the bootloader it gets stuck. When i try to enter DFU mode, to downgrade to 1.0.2 does the same as before, get's stuck at "waiting for iPhone"
I have tried with ibrickr, but it too gets stuck at entering DFU mode and iTunes says "waiting on Iphone"
I have tried on other computers, rebootet my computer and changed USB port...

Guys, I'm getting desperate!!!! plz help

i think that means he has tried on another system. I dont know what to tell you man. If i think of anything ill let you know. did you do anything to provoke this? why were you restoring in the first place? sounds like your baseband got messed up. probably from unpluggin it after itunes started restoring.

It is acutally not my phone, but the guy who messed it up stopped in in the middle of some process in zipphone and got a message saying "BSD root: md0, major 2"

take it into restore mode hold home and power button with the iphone connected to itunes then once its off let go the power but keep holding the home until it appears on itunes and then kick it into DFU mode with ziphone or iliberty and try restoring it after
