Im a athlete at texas a&m and i have an AT&T plan.. im going back home to amsterdam this christmas and i want to use my iphone over there.

I jailbreak into the phone already and it works fine.

Out of the box i had fw 1.0.0 i updated it to 1.02

Can i unlock my phone so i can use any sim card even tho i already activated the phone out of the box with itunes.....


Does somebody know this... I know how to unlock the phone i just dont know if i can still use my phone after i unlocked it cause its activated by itunes.

and if this is impossible.. is there a way to still unlock the phone..

As long as your on 1.0.2 yes.. One of my buddies bought an iphone off an att customer (who had it activated) and did the unlock and uses T mobil on it. Now I dont know if you will suffer issues when changing back to an att sim card but I doubt you would run into anything.

well thats the problem.. im going to amsterdam for 1 month and after im coming back to the states and i have to use my AT&T sim card again.
And i want to take the risk to not be able to use the AT&T sim card afterworths..

So does anyone know for a fact if i can unlock it and then use another sim card and then after use my AT&T again

my phone was activated with at&t originally. I dumped AT&T service as soon as unlocking became possible and unlocked with my cuurrent t mobile plan. So the answer is yes you can. Btw Im on my t mobile iPhone as I type

can you please tell me how you unlocked the phone..
did you use the anysim program? and put the tmobile sim card in it?
the thing iwanna know is if i unlock the phone and i use another simcard and another provider if i can use my at&t card as well...
