Angry Accidently "re-virginized" a 1.1.1 phone to 1.0.2, now dead, any suggestion?

So I have this iphone from a customer, it was having problems, the iphone keeps crashing under any App, the SB just reloads itself or shuts the app down. only thing usable is the phone function and ipod.

but anyways... I was thinking to restore the phone then re-unlock it, and load minimal apps on it.

I think I accidently loaded the wrong Revirginizer, after it's done, the modem firmware was 31408g...

now the phone just shows a iTunes icon with a cable connected to it...

i was able to get to the main menu by using Apptapp on windows, but there's no phone function.

    what do you suggest?

1.1.1 is a stuck up prick - it only works with 04.01 baseband. 1.1.2 is the same - only works of 04.02 baseband. I say that these versions are stuck up because 1.0.2 and before would work with any baseband version. Indeed, my unlocked 1.1.2 phones get unlocked with 1.0.2 firmware and 1.1.2 baseband and you can make calls and everything in 1.0.2 once the unlock happens. As soon as you update to 1.1.1 to oktoprep up for 1.1.2, calls stop working (until you get to 1.1.2 of course).

If the phone is running OS 1.1.1 and baseband 03.14 your best bet is to get a 1.1.1 ipsw image and SHIFT-OPTION click the RESTORE button in iTunes to restore 1.1.1 back onto it.

Doing so will update the baseband to 04.01 for you. You can then do the *#307 trick to jailbreak and anySIM it back to life.

yea i thought so too, so I restored it to 1.1.1 fw hoping it would flash the baseband back to 4.01 .... and it gave the error code 1604..

ok now the phone is stuck at the recovery mode screen (iTunes icon + cable picture)... again.

and I can't get to the activation screen or menu anymore, even using apptapp...
