"I guess the $50 for the unlock was worth it afterall."

How? Are you able to use any sim card beside ATT? If your answer is no than your statement is false.

How is it false? It was my $50 to spend however I wanted and I'm the judge of whether or not it was worth it.

How could it be considered 'worth it' by any stretch of the word? It didn't unlock your phone. That's the whole purpose.

The phone just needs activating with the other sim card in.

Wait for the new activation hack.

    How I see it,
    1. I was able to unlock my iPhone and have the capability to use whatever SIM I wanted. 2. eventhough it is locked now, I still benefit from being able to use the the v1.1.1 update NOW while others who used AnySIM either have theirs somewhat bricked or stuck at v1.02 for the time being
    3. When the iPhone hacking geniuses figure out a way to jailbreak the phone, I'm back to my mods.
    4. After that, it is just a waiting game for IphoneFreeSim to release an update to unlock the phone once again.

Again, if I choose to burn a $50 dollar for the pure hell of it and I enjoyed it, then it was worth it to me.

sealos, please stop to post this LIES. tons of idiots are locking down their phone 'cause of your FALSE statement. not INCORRECT, but FALSE.

a RIGHT and CLEAR say must be "i've unlocked my phone with IPSF, and upgrading to 1.1.1 does not BRICK the iPhone, but LOCK it back. "

guyz from IPSF are the worst kinda SCUM ever seen: say "it's unlocked but work only with AT&T Cards" its a BULLSHIT. That's not "marketing words", that's not "beeing in the business", it just LIES. and UNETHIC.

man, if your arsehole is still burning 'cause you've payed 50 bucks for something that is FREE, keep using a sedative, and not try to trick us.

iRev, I'm not out to trick anyone. If the "tons of idiots" are locking down their phones based on just reading the title of the thread, then they have bigger issues.

If you read my posting, I clearly state that putting in a Tmobile SIM did NOT work, but using my AT&T SIM did.

For the record... my iPhone was unlocked using IPSF, but I was able able update to v1.1.1 successfully, but it locked my handset back to AT&T. I only unlocked it in the first place because:

    1. I could
    2. traveling to europe and want to use a pre-paid SIM

I'm sure I'm not the only one who unlocked their phones for similar reasons.

BTW, the only reason my arsehole is burning is trying to decipher your poor grammar. And if you're one of those "poor idiots", then you should have read the entire post.
