Default $50 to anyone who can fix my iphone...

I have a US iPhone that was unlocked on 1.0.2. and working fine. However it was accidentally upgraded to 1.1.1. and became brickified. The iPhone now tells me to connect to itunes, i do this and am told that the iPhone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored, so i attempt to do this but every time it fails with the unknown error code 6, 1603 or 2003. I am running itunes version 7.4.2.

I have tried reinstalling itunes and trying different usb hubs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try again but move your iphone cable to a different USB port.

btw, don't forget to use shift-click when pressing restore to select the firmware you created in the ibrickr folder.

    search *.ipsw on your comp
you should have 2 files there
    note where they are

connect your phone to the comp.
pess and hold power and homebutton till the screen goes off and you hear a "ding"

leave the power button and keep pressing the home button till you hear another "ding" from your comp.

your comp will now recognize your iphone in DFU mode.

press and hold shift and click restore.

navigate to where the 1.0.2 restore ipsw file is.

    restore your iphone.

when restoration is complete itunes wll give you an error and your phone will reboot with the yellow exclamation mark please connect to itunes screen.

if for some reason you are stuck on the ipod connector and itunes screen then repeat the above steps till you reach where i have described.

close itunes and go to taskmanager and kill all itunes related processes (itunes, itunes helper, ipod services ,apple...)

download apptap installer and choose 1.0.2. firmare and let it download the firmware....

it too will error out and your phone should reboot to "slide to unlock" screen
