I have 49s week Iphone and I am not able even to jailbreak

as usual I go trough iTunes shift Key and restore 1.0.2 it says extracting software and then Waiting for Iphone

and keeps that message all the time

what to do please

why di you go down to 1.0.2 ????

its enough to restore via itunes with shift to the 1.1.1

Well even if you go down to 1.0.2, you will still have to upgrade to 1.1.1 in order to run Oktoprep and finally upgrade back to 1.1.2 .

Actually, going from 1.1.2 to 1.0.2 is not the best idea. You should first downgrade to 1.1.1 and then downgrade again to 1.0.2 (which i think is not necessary).

I believe appsnapp will not install on 1.0.2 it needs 1.1.1. I could be wrong. In any case just dropping to 1.1.1 should do the trick. I feel for ya on the wifi. I have cable net and only get wifi at the hot spots in town. Luckily fo rme there is a subway 2 blocks away and I was able to walk there to get the needed files loaded on my phone. Good luck....
