    OK GUYS!

    I downgraded a 1.1.2 OTB to 1.1.1
    Then jailbroken 1.1.1
    Then updated to 1.1.2
    Then jailbroken 1.1.2
THEN applying the geolock update running the commands thru terminal, and enabling airplane mode after restarting commcenter.

    The results so far:

    - My Vodafone SIM is recognized, so does my PIN code.
    - I can make outgoing calls.
    - I can't recieve incoming calls. When I call from a regular telephone to my cell, cell starts to soft-reboot until I hang.
    - If i click on the RECENTS list of calls, Springboard pops in (aka hangs mobilephone app).

EDIT: FOR INT'L USERS: DO REMEMBER TO RUN iWORLD from INSTALLER AFTER UNLOCKING!!!!

In my opinion Geohot did the GREAT work of finding enough holes to downgrade the baseband but WE are now BETATESTING his software, and ruining (partially, just with our time) our iPhones.

In my opinion the thread has now a sense: THIS IS AN UNSTABLE GEOHOT UNLOCK.
Install iWorld, from installer. Then run it and select your country from the list!!!

Since a lot of people are being able to unlock their 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 iPhones now, I believe it is very important that after every unlock "tutorial", there be a warning telling international users to instal iWorld. I have seen many many many posts like this throught hackingt0sh today...

And for all those that donīt know how to unlock using terminal, I recommend you to wait for a few more hours for a soft-app solution (just run it from Installer and you are unlocked). Itīs wise to wait because bugs will be sort out too.

Default Issues with zhs:bus error, "phone needs repair", stuck in DFU, and "invalid SIM".

I had a nightmare to work this out, so to prevent others having the same problems, a quick write up.

Started with a 1.1.2 OTB, jailbroken. Installed all the pre-requisites, as well as few others including the BSD subsystem update - which I think I installed before the BSD subsystem - not my brightest ever moment. Not sure if this is where it all started to go wrong.

The first time i ran gunlock (in flight mode), it failed with the message

    zhs:bus error

Thought I'd start from scratch, so ran launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist, which worked. Bounced the phone - when it started, it was back at the activate screen. No problems - went to jailbreak again. Didn't work.

Tried restoring 1.1.2, took forever and a day, got stuck in DFU mode, jailbreaker 1.1.2 wouldn't get me out. Tried restoring 1.1.1 - it wouldn't take. Moved to a different PC, tried iBrickr 0.91 - out of DFU, but a message comes up

"Repair Needed. iPhone cannot make or receive calls" Wonderful.

Did some googling, suggestions were to upgrade to 1.1.3 using itunes - did that, stuck in DFU again. iBrickr wouldn't work to bring it out of DFU.

Restored (not upgrade, restore!) to 1.1.2, got out of DFU usin iBrickr. Get a message saying "Invalid SIM with this phone". Upgraded down to 1.1.1, got stuck in an infinite reboot loop. By now I'm getting fed up. Tried upgrading again, but iTunes wouldn't do it. Took the SIM card (AT&T) out, upgraded to 1.1.2 successfully. Booted up iBrickr 0.91, it can't find the iPhone. Try ibrickr-jb113 - iPhone starts up at the activation screen.

Ran through the 1.1.2 jailbreak process - downgrade to 1.1.1, jailbreak, upgrade to 1.1.2, use jailbreaker 1.1.2, phone is unlocked, but still getting the invalid sim message.

Installed the BSD subsystem, then the sendowski.de gunlock package, and terminal. Set to flight mode. Ran launchctl unload blah blah, then gunlock - same message, zhs:buserror. I ran it a second time, but with pathed parameters (./ in front of secpack, ICE...:

    gunlock ./secpack ./ICE04.02.13_G.fls

WOrked a charm, enjoy your iphone message comes up - launchctl load blah blah, then had to run bricktool as I'm now on 1.1.3 baseband, iWorld, replace AT&T SIM with an Australian one, and made a test call. Nearly fell of my chair when home phone rang.

Hope it helps anyone who thinks they may have bricked theirs - stick with it, try jailbreak and both iBrickr versions .
