    Wrd.

In both cases, I would reVirginize. If you have access to a wifi network, use http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12052 , else (or if the first method doesn't work for you) use http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=13072 . I used both on a couple of iPhones, with no problems. After reVirginizing, you can upgrade to fw 1.1.1. and then follow one of the guides to unlock (this is very useful http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=12817).

    Hope you can solve this.

    Peace

it doesn't matter which sim card you use. as long as you have one in the phone.

you can use any SIm card as long as it is not PIN protected.
You can disable that in another mobile phone.

I have exactly the same "no sim installed" problem.

It was working fine with 1.0.2 and anysim 1.0.2 unlocked.
I've then virginized and upgraded to 1.1.1 and unlocked with anysim 1.1
I've done this many times before on different phones but only this one time it came up with this "no sim installed" problem.

    What I've tried so far:
    Restored 1.1.1 -> no help
downgraded to 1.0.2 -> no help
downgraded to 3.14 BB -> no help
revirginized 3.14 BB -> no help

So neither a new firmware nore a new baseband solves this problem.
But I still think it's a software not a hardware problem, because it was working fine before upgrading.

    Any more suggestions?

    Yep, it works fine now.

All iPhones unlocked and usable. Great thanks to that high level skilled man!

PM (or better email) me if you have similar problems. Maybe I can help you.
