3.9 BL Using Ziphone method....not working...displaying slide for emergency
Hey. I have a 3.9BL iphone and i have restored to 1.1.3 and put the phone into recovery mode by holding home and power until apple shows then letting go of power to have the connect to itunes symboles showing. ZiPhone can connect to my phone. Im entering ziphone -a -j into cmd. its saying its working wait 45secs etc... and i can see the phone rebooting but when it is done, its still slide for emergency. i dont know what to do now! iv tried it on xp and vista. 2 pc's and its the same.
Any help anyone? anything please?
thanks

here is the problem to your solution...
1. power off iphone normally (slide to power off)
2. issue iphone command (ziphone -a -j)
3. while ziphone is searching for your iphone, dock the iphone while holding the home button
it will work...

Do not put phone in recovery mode.
Just turn it off by sliding the red slider.
Run command ziphone -a -j
When it searching for iphone just hold the home button and dock your phone.
First ever Apple product I bought : iPhone.

By the way, there is no need now for the recovery mode... as it has been fixed in the latest build of the Ziphone 1.1...

Your dock should already be connected to your computer by USB.
You have your phone turned off by sliding the red slider and it is in your hand.
Run command ziphone -a -j
When its searching for iphone hold down home button and put your phone in the dock.

I´ve just been in a world of trouble because of the same thing. upgraded a BL3.9 and thought that the ziphone would fix it. The ziphone didnt work (as it clearly states, only working with BL4.6).
Anyway. I downgraded to 1.1.1 but still with the 1.1.3 modem firmware. Nothing worked until I gave Anysim 1.3 a try. Now the phone is back to 1.1.1 unlocked. Ill try upgrading it to 1.1.3 again to see if the problem is solved with anysim 1.3

Try the new version 1.1 on Zs blog if you haven't already
No need to use DFU anymore and some more bug fixes

hey. Thanks for all your replies. thats me back up to 1.1.3 and i have connected it the way u guys have told me and i have ran ziphone -a -j and it is taking its time. its been about 3minz now and its still doing it. do u know how long it usually takes? and if its not done in 5minz? what should i do? was thinking about putting it into DFU mode and doing a clean 1.1.3 restore again. then trying the ziphone -a -j method.
Any suggestions?

If it takes much more than five min's somethings wrong
I'd imagine its not getting into DFU correctly
If I was you I'd get the new 1.1 version from Z's Blog Page because you can forget about DFU now.
You just restore to 1.1.3 and run the ziphone tool
