I have the new ziphone 1.1. I pressed on the start thing but nothing happened. I waited and waited until I put my phone in dfu mode, and it seemed like it did something because the phone rebooted but brought me back to activation screen :S

I had this problem too, so I used the i.unlock.no GUI and it worked.

    Em

I had a problem with a phone that wouldn't get past the wait 2.30 part on the first version of ziphone.

    Try doing what I did..

    1) Restore to 1.1.3 again
    2) Don't enter DFU just run Ibrickr (It will show you the green screen)

    3) Then open the ziphone GUI and run -a -j

Worked for me on this problem phone I had last nite

awww man im getting no where. i restored the 1.1.3 firmware and i have the new ziphone and when i run it, it says wait 45seecs. its taking forever. i am just getting the apple logo. what i have done is, held home and power till i get connect to itunes, using ibrkr to boot out of it but its not booting, just staying red. i think im going to have to do down to a lower firmware. ill try once more.

    Thats a Strange one

All I did was restore to 1.1.3 didn't enter DFU mode with this problem phone.

From the slide to activate screen I run ibrickr got the green screen, that push the phone into DFU for me.

then I run ziphone -a -j and it worked.

But I was stuck with wait 2.30 minutes not 45 seconds

Maybe you're right try downgrading the baseband & firmware go back up to 1.1.3 and try again
