I am a n00b, I just wanted to get that out there.. Ok, I bought an Iphone off craigslist for $170, the kid said he got it in March.. model: A1203 serial: 5k8075AQ..
So I brought it home eager to hack it since I have ATT but no data plan I put my sim in and nothing..

The first thing I did is upgrade my itunes becuase when I plugged in it said I should.. What I should have done is come here.. So I upgraded, phone upgraded to 2.0. After this I tried Ziphone and iliberty and they appear to do something but dont work. and I got an error message in itunes after that, so I reflashed from itunes 7.7..

The phone still says slide for emergency and it looks ok..
My first question is: did I brick my phone? and How would I know?
second: should I wait for winpwn2 I have no mac.. or should I downgrade to 1.1.4?
