[2.0] Can't get in DFU mode

I followed the video on the youtube to try to get in DFU mode.

I noticed that when you push and hold both buttons, the iphone stays "off".

However, my iphone always turn on in 2 secs...

Is there anyone has same problem with me? or any suggestion?

Have you tried recovery mode?

Yes, I did use recovery mode to restore several times.

I even tried to use ziphone and iliberty+, still no luck. My phone always go into recovery mode.

From what U say it seems like you try to put your phone in DFU mode when your phone is turned OFF.

You need to hold both the sleep and home button when your phone is ON , wait 10 seconds ( in the meanwhile, while holding the two buttons , the phone will look like is turning off and start the reboot process ) and then release the sleep button, while holding the home button. Keep holding the home button until the phone finally gets in DFU mode ( your screen will be BLACK as if it never started ) but Itunes will recognized the DFU mode and notify you.

When I follow the PwnageTool 2.0.1, it shows "Turn off the iphone" before hold both button, that is why I was trying to start from OFF.

I also try to follow the video from youtube, started from ON status, still no luck.
