1011 error, determining current settings error, parse error, secpack error.
I've spent 3 days trying to fix my iphone. It all began when I tried to reflash my iphone with bootneuter, but it just got stuck until it ran out of battery, when I turn it on again I cant boot into the phone anymore.
I tried recover it in EVERY single way. I've tried using kiphone to erase the baseband, but it says I need to use a secpack matching the firmware, I am sure I have the right one. (couldn't solve the problem with this)
I then tried the ifix1011, but when I run the 1011b.sh it says parse error near ']].... I couldn't find out why, so I decided to delete all the 'if' and 'else' lines in the 1011.sh file. But still I cant continue, cause at some point it will keep retrying to do something.
I dont know what to do anymore, somebody can help?
really sorry to hear that man....but welcome to the club....
as you might have come to know by now ... you have a corrupted baseband/bootloader ...that is the reason you are stuck at Determining current setting ( cause there are no settings) ..so it waits infinitely ...
The only readily available solution for now is to change the commboard ...
there are other methods that have worked for a few 1011 phones but....
> the freezing method
> jsn1 's 1011b.sh file
> A17 hardware flash method
and a few more...
iphone 2g at 3.0 using unofficial sim
changed commboard at 1.1.4
I tried the testpoint method too and it all went well and I succesfully erased my baseband but it seems like it got stuck again since I didn't use 1.1.1 firmware baseband files but 1.1.4. I thought I could repeat the process again, but when I run iunew now, I get the "did you flash the flash first?" anybody know how to get past this to get to the testpoint again?
