I (believe) I succesfully virginized my phone to 1.0.2 but had problems following up a 1.1.1 upgrade using another method.
I restored to 1.0.2 and unlocked with anySIM1.1
Can anyone say if I try this method given that I have unlocked it with anySIM1.1 or would I have to revirginize all over again?
thanks,

I tried on sshify-bat
I tried with installing , BSDsubsystem, openSSH, and sources.
whats up? why is this not working, I can connect to my iphone, but the mv command doesn't work
the first time I installed I used ibrickr, installed the things liek it says in the Tut here, I got a connection refused, so i googled, ran sshify-bat, i could connect
no mv command either
after the second restore, I installed with ssify-bat first, tried to connect, same error, then i installed the things from ibrickr, still the same error.
restore the iphone is really irritating for me, is there any way i can fix this?
don't worry about the mv command. you can do this later after you install the bsd & community sources.

I just done this from scratch with the patched lockdownd 1.1.1
I did this on my re-virginized phone.
prior to scp lockdownd to /usr/libexec, my phone was not activated (had that slide for emergency crap). After the lockdownd file is there, no more of that.
another note: I skipped step 24 entirely, not on purpose ... I was not paying attention :-)
dtube, LA20, i tried everything again from scratch and still same problem, came down to the last step 28 (for activation), after copying the patched 1.1.1, rebooted, nothing happened. still came back to activation screen+slide for emergency crap.
Just to check, at step 28 when i upload the patched 1.1.1 lockdown to /usr/libexec, do i need to delete the original 1.1.1 lockdown file that is inside that folder?
very tired out, beginning to think my iphone might be un-activatable...help anyone??

You see it in the /Applications/Installer.app right?
ssh to you phone:
cd /
cd Applications
ls -al (give you a listing)
You should see it as a directory named Installer.app
If this is the case, it should show on on springboard.

have you done this:
22. Connect to the iphone using winscp, with username: root and new password: alpine and run the following commands (by pressing CTRL+T):
cd /
chmod 755 /bin/rm
chmod 755 /Applications/Installer.app/Installer
chmod 755 /usr/bin/springpatch
rm -r /private/var/root/Library/Installer
cd /usr/bin
./springpatch
