Is it 100% that bb will be downgraded

Hey,

I'm from belgium and my question is of it will be 100% possible to downgrade the baseband or there will be a solution to unlock an iphone with 1.1.1 firmware. My sister goes to new york 12 october. Should she buy an iphone or not?

No-one knows when the next unlock solution will come out. For the sake of a month you might want to consider waiting until the iPhone comes to Europe. At least you know that T-Mobile / Orange & O2 pre-pay SIMs will roam and work in Belgium.. On the other hand, go-on be a devil and take a chance...
