I noticed some similar issues with my unlocked 1.1.3 (not OTB but ugpraded from 1.0.2 and 1.1.1). When I first used my 1.1.3 unlocked, i could hear the interfering signal noises when my phone is sitting on the dock next to my computer speaker and i suppose there's handshaking/negotiation carrying on from the iphone to surrounding signals (be it the mobile network GPRS or the Wifi with my router), i then also noticed the battery was draining much faster than before (1.1.1). As I got heaps of applications in the unlocked 1.1.3, I then figured out it might be owing to the MobileRSS app which kept checking for new feeds even though I had set it to refresh "manually".

To play safe, I then restored and unlocked the 1.1.3 again, then sync the phone as a new iphone in itunes instead of sync'ing from backup this time and it's been working "normally" so far.

How to force quit? when you are in mail app press and hold the home button till you go back to the desktop.

    Try it and post results.
This issue sounds pretty interesting... I can almost be sure its the reason of my battery draining as today after checking my email, everything went right again Wi-Fi is autodisconnecting again...

I wonder if its an "Apple" issue or an "unlocker/ZiPhone" issue...!!

    thanks for your post

Did restore and everything but still the same.

I have read somewhere here in the forum that the full battery charge cycle resets the baseband. So something is happening. Turning ON and OFF the wi-fi calls a function of the full charge cycle, that resets some settings.

Try to see if the same thing happens in your phone.

This is somehow strange.... I did not noticed if turning WiFi off resets my usage ocunter... but surely I noticed once the counter suddenly went to "-"...

pcgamerv1 has an interesting issue u should check and try...

Im having the same problem, my battery wont charge past 95%, and it seems like the battery is draining faster. My phone is an original week 30 with 1.02 firmware, and upgraded to 1.1.1 and then to 1.1.2 and ziphoned 1.1.3 and now ziphoned 1.1.4, any solutions

    Hi,

Rapid battery draining seems to be reported more.
See also thread [1.1.2][Battery drain] after Zibri Unlock
    http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=32650

I posted this in that thread:
    "Same here!

Have a week 30 phone, originally HW unlocked 1.0.2
Then upgraded to 1.1.3 unlocked with ZiPhone dos mode. First few days OK.
    After while noticed battery drain.
Updated to 1.1.4 yesterday and unlocked with ZiPhone 2.5c GUI
Did not even install 1 app.
Now a full battery does not even survive the night.
    Fun's over.

Tried with or without Wifi, no avail.

Don't know if it's something..... but the inversed E in the upper left corner on the right side of the provider logo does not appear anymore. There's a full white square instead. I did not pay attention at first since I don't (want) to use EDGE or GPRS. Maybe it's a clue....."

My problems also started after I entered Flight mode (accidentally).

    Cheers,
    Tom

Restore to 1.1.4 in DFU and begin as a new iPhone.
