I just migrated from a prepaid (Vodafone) to a postpaid connection (Airtel) over the weekend and my GPRS has stopped working. I am getting an IP on EDGE with the new carrier but none of my apps or Safari work.

For Vodafone GPRS I had to make a proxy.pac file and edit the preferences.plist file to get it to work. Now I have deleted the proxy.pac and re-edited the preferences.plist to omit proxy.pac reference. Another co-worker also has Airtel on his 1st Gen iphone but he is on 2.0.1 and he seems to be having no issues with his EDGE connectivity. We have identical data plans.

How can I get mine to work?

I just put my friend's SIM card in my iPhone and he put mine in his. I can browse the Internet using his card and he cannot using mine. So now I know my phone is fine, its just something at my providers end.
