I was thinking restore to 1.1.4 and try using ZiPhone. Any other methods to jailbreak with a PC? If it doesn't work it is possible to downgrade back to 1.1.3 and use ZiPhone and continue to wait?

Most of the guys on here have just one (1) iPhone - just like you - So PLEASE don't ask them to go do it another way just to please you - They did it their way and took the time to report the results. If you have similar resources then follow their steps - If not ( PC v. MAC) then wait until you READ a post from someone with your type of setup that has the results you want.

Right now you most likely have a working iPhone - LEAVE IT ALONE - Until results of the different methods are available.

And please no more of "I ACCIDENTALLY UPGRADED MY PHONE _ PLEASE HELP ME URGENTLY" posts - There are NO accidents - just people who refuse to READ and SEARCH

Please calm down. I'm simply asking QUESTIONS. Just like anyone would when they are curious. I'm not causing a post storm as you're suggesting. Also, why are you bringing in this whole accident thing? That has NO revelence whatsoever to my question which is for stuart to clarify what he did.

I think Xserve2 was a little impatience because the question you asked has been answered in other posts. And of course, your curiosity is fully warranted ...

yes, 1.1.4 can be jailbroken and activated using ziphone with a "patched" zibri.dat - As far as unlocking goes, it can be done on 3.9 BL using Geohot's IPSF method.

edit: read new post by MuscleNerd - latest Independence can do it all including unlock (using1.1.2 baseband )
