I am sure I did it all right....I dit ipwner...then I built the edited ipsw firmware image and eventually I restored that image into my iphone. Then the phone rebooted and automatically butneuter flashed bootloader and baseband. Now the firmware is activated, jailbreaked, but no network connection: it start to search, but after 30 secs No service appears on the screen...I don't know what to do!

When building the custom firmware did you check all the boxes as seen in 1st picture of post #2 at http://www.hackint0sh.org/forum/showthread.php?t=36686 ?

Yes I did...I also resetted all the settings and rebooted, but the situation is still the same: no connection to my network career. Any suggestions?

After reading the thread I mentioned in my first post here, we tested it on my friends iPhone that exactly has your setup. Exept we went straight to 1.1.4, did not try 1.0.2 downgrade in between.

Like the member pointed out we first DFU restored from 1.1.1 to 1.1.4 to make sure to get 1.1.4 on the phone. Then proceeded as described. Hos iPhone catched the signal immediately after rebooting, like the member in the mentioned thread described.

I'll talk to him, but now I dont know why this did not work for you.

    One more question:
In your first post you are saying you restored your 1.1.1 iPhone to 1.1.4 and then jailbreaked and activated it, just that? Which software did you use to do that?

I hope that I'll find the way to get out of this trouble.... I think that the main problem was ipsf, but I can't understand why using the right procedure, my iPhone doesn't catch the signal. I tried everything to solve this problem which began when I upgraded the firmware(1.1.1) to 1.1.4 and then I used ziphone 3 for mac to unlock, activate and jailbreak it: no signal. Then I restored the iphone to os 1.0.2 with modem firmware 04_04_05_G: everything worked out perfectly...Since I wanted to have the latest firmware I re upgraded the firmware to 1.1.4: still no signal. I tried also to ierase the baseband with ziphone. After that I restored the firmware 1.1.4 and I followed the procedure using pwnage....The phone doesn't catch the signal....

I really don't know what happened but after restarting my iPhone 3 or 4 times, it catched the signal and joined my career network. I've no idea about what exactly happened: I only know that without doing anything it started to work agan! THANK YOU for your help!
