to add to what he said , there is currently no way to upgrade your bootloader and swicthing bootloader voids your warranty so if it for some reason it malfunctions for some reason apple might not replace it due to that fact. We have guy in a other thread who is in that boat who is going to take it in so I would wait till what he says or until there is a way to upgrade

are you sure about the bootloader being downgraded?? because i'm sure you can just uncheck the downgrade bootloader box right?

Yes, and I recommend that. It will then downgrade the baseband (to 04.02.13), which is fine for all purposes except Google Maps Location (but there's a workaround for that). Biggest advantage: the whole procedure is reversible!
iPhone 3GS / 3.1.2 JB (PwnageTool) / 04.26.08 carrier-locked, Carrier Logo Fixer / Cydia / 1000 posts on Hackint0sh
Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.
Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
* on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
* on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

Boy (if you prefer it that way),
first I would like you to get your facts straight as a friend of mine has a 1.1.4 OTB (ordered online @ Apple store) and if you would look into other forums you will see that some people also have
second I would appreciate if you would talk to me in a normal way.

Are you sure about that? I thought that with 1.1.3 OTB people could keep their current Bootloader with Ziphone. I might be wrong here though.
Thanks for the useful comments.
