[1.1.4 OTB] using ziphone2.5c or iplus 1.2?
hi,
can i know if ziphone2.5c can unlock, activate, and jailbreak 114 otb or 113otb w/o any prob?
can iplus 1.2 be used to?
i know iplus uses a fake bootloader but what exactly is it used for?
lastly any steps i can follow? or is it the same as iclarified. ( iclarified did not state its for 113otb or 114otb)
tks in advance for ur valuable inputs

i wouldnt touch iplus if i were as if you are not careful it will downgarde the bootloader to a un upgradeable state and yes i would restore after each failed attempt because using a clean phone is the best way to go, thumbs up if i helped you

You mean you wouldn't touch ZIPHONE! as that downgrades the bootloader to an un unpgradeable state!
The iPlus downgrade is upgradable again!

wat is it about the bootloader? i thought that 3.9BL is supposed to be the better bootloader? as it can be "virginize" etc?
y do we need to upgrade to 4.6 again?

I believe )law( means "I wouldn't touch ziphone !!!".
iPlus 1.2 is safe and it is my prefer choice (actually my only choice for 1.1.4).
@mysteria,
your question requires extensive writings and explanation. Try to read in the forum. It's all there.
Don't worry, with 1.1.4 on the phone - you are safe with iPlus 1.2

Well, personally i would not touch iplus. this is because, its is an unofficial bootloader, and apple can easily brick any people with the fakebootloader with the next update, where as, ziphone downgrades to an official 3.9. This means, Apple is highly unlikely to make the update brick the iphone.

I call bs here!! If you are supposed to have a 4.6BL and you have a 3.9BL what the hell is the difference?? If they do BL checks to try to brick phones it seems I would want the BL that can be upgraded back to the original before updating. If they are gonna go that route why not just Brick all phones that are suppossed to be at 4.6 and you eliminate a ton of hacked Iphones from updates.

well said.
for next update. Don't update
.
Wait for people who have the expertise to review it first
If you do it blindly then you are asking for trouble.
