[1.1.4 OTB] Is it activated?

Sorry for the dumb question but I used Iplus 2.0 and it seems like everything went well, but when I insert my Tmobile sim nothing happens, it doesnt get a signal therefore cant make any phone calls. Was the sim supposed to be inside while Iplus was running?

Sorry forgot to include necessary info, it was an OTB 1.1.4 iphone that I got today

No, no need for sim to be inside the phone during activation, jailbreaking and unlocking process. Just go into settings-->general-->reset-->reset all settings

See if that helps...If not go to iPlus 2.0b sticky:

and download iPlus 2.0b and international pack and DFU restore your phone again to 1.1.4 and run iplus2.0b (assuming you ran the iPlus2.0 the first time)

Yea I tried it and still no luck. Do you have any idea why I cant get a signal? I know im not in a dead area because my sidekick gets four bars. Its not damaged beyond repair is it?
