    Default [1.1.4][OS X] Issues after ZiPhone 2.5

    Greetings!

Just did the whole process: update to 1.1.4, from a ZiPhone'd 1.1.3, then chose "Do it All".

Everything seems to be fine: can call, sms, iTunes restored my settings: all seemed to be well.....
I cannot install BSD Subsystem: the progress bar hangs between the "P" and "A" of "Downloading Package".
I cannot reinstall Installer 3.0: I get a main script execution error.

    I am on a Mac, 10.5.2

    Anyone got any tips?

    Many thanks.

Yes, you had to do a full restore, not an update. Check the readme file on ziphone 2.5 directory.

yes you have to restore...if you update...installer won't work, bsd, everything will be messed up...you need to do a clean restore...

Thanks all, for the INSANELY quick replies. Wow. I rebooted again and tried to install BSD once more, just for kicks, and it worked! I figured I might as well do it the proper way so I put it in DFU and am currently restoring to 1.1.4. Fingers crossed
I sure hope 1.1.4 is more stable than my 1.1.3 was: that was buggy as f%ck for me. Constantly crashing and rebooting (at least 3 times a day).

By the way: mine is a 1.0.2 OTB, 3.9BL, 8GB, GF on wallpaper

Well, things are still not right. It still crashes randomly... (currently looking at a freeze-frame Pirate vs Ninja movie on Youtube. Phone will not go back to Springboard and iTunes hangs... Really weird. Sometimes I wish I had just settled for a run of the mill Sony Ericsson phone..

Nah...don't settle for less. Think of all the fun you will be missing on an SE phone. If you want to settle, just settle on an older version of firmware and not upgrade...at least until all the kinks have been worked out.
