[1.1.4] Occasionally No Service / Need Repair
Hi! I wonder if anyone found solution to my problem or I'm the only one with this problem...
I upgraded my iPhone to 1.1.4 (OTB1.0.2) via iPlus 2.0b.
I have full signal and I use it daily (not excessive).
Sometimes, out of the blue, it will say No Service / Need Repair... but once I turn off the phone and turn on again, I will gain signal again with no problem.
Could it be software conflict?

why dont you try a restore?

I've already restored to 1.1.4 and re-run iPlus again.
Also, I've tried reset all the contents and settings.
No cure....

You can try erasing your baseband with ziphone and then restoring to 1.1.4 that way your baseband will be reflashed.
That may fix it, i remember earlier versions of iplus had a bug that after the BL was downgraded the Baseband was not properly flashed and this leaded to Repair needed error message
so you can try that

Ok... I'll give it a try tomorrow. Thanks again...

Interesting since I am actually getting the same issue on one iphone. I followed the same process to prepare two (restore to 1.1.4 and using iplus 2.0). They are now both running 3.9FB with the latest baseband and firmware but strangly only one phone seems to have issues. Even more interesting it worked for quite some time without issues and now suddenly start failing quite often in fact ...
I will try tonight to go for a baseband erase and start the process again
I would be interested to know if this worked for you

Question.... I'm on original BL 3.9. Can I erase the BL via ZiPhone and maintain original BL 3.9 or it will be upgraded?

I had the same problem (no service) with my wife's iphone. I took out the sim and reinstalled it. That appears to have solved the problem.
