    Well this is my story...

    Tried not ask for help and read almost everything about no service/no signal issues...

    tried everything I know...

    refurbishing, restoring

    It has been reported on some blogs that sometimes the SIM card doesn't make good contact. The fix involves putting some tape on the sim tray to push the card a little more to make sure it does good contact. Try that and see if you get anything.

    I tried to push the simcard slot, still no signal, too bad

    Try putting the ATT (or whatever) original sim in the phone and see if you get a signal. Even if it's not unlocked it should give you a signal with a compatible network to make emergency calls. If you don't get any you know it's a hardware problem, if you do get signal then it's probably software and it should be easy to fix.

    had the same problems . tried the original sim and it still would lose the signal. Finally had my sim replaced by my provider (smart Philippines) . I have had no trouble now after about two hours of texting and calls.
