    Default [1.1.4] No service issue

Hey, i have had iPhone for about half a year now. It is 8GB one. Anyway a few days ago it started to lose signal randomly when i was talking. Sometimes it let me speak for 5 mins, sometimes 5 seconds. then the service suddenly drops to 0 and it sayd no service. After like 5 seconds everything is fine again. I just reinstalled software as well, with winpwn. Didn't help. Also i am still using HyperCard tho, can the problem be that? Or it is something in hardware that is badly screwed... If it is and if anyone has had this problem before, is there a way to fix it?

I think you are pretty much off here in Hardware section.
As far as I understood you were using HyperCard.

Now you upgraded (obviously to fw 1.1.4) cause you used winpwn, right?

When using a pwnage solution, there is no need having any of the ***sim in you iPhone.

Just put your regular simcard in the iPhoe, DFU-restore to 1.1.4 and use iLiberty or pwnage (Both Win and Mac) to jailbreak/activate/unlock.

Check pwnage or unlock secktion for more infos.

maybe one of the mods could relocate this thread

I was just thinking if it might be a hardware problem. I know there is no need for hypercard anymore, but i would need to go get a new SIM then, because the current is cut up pretty much Maybe someone here has had the same problem as me. Losing of service while talking... Maybe some kind of loose wire or something?

If you sucessfully unlocked your iPhone at 1.1.4 with winpwn you should be able using a simcard from a friend, just to make sure. I mean without cutting it, just using the simcard in your iPhone.

    I agree with Volkspost.
You can borrow a sim card from a friend just to test. If it works fine, you can always buy a new sim card from your cell provider and get rid of the hyper thingy. Your phone was 1.1.2 OTB because that was a solution back then.

You can also cut a piece of plastic in the shape of the SIM card and use it with yours.
