Hey Aviegas: If I have a 1.1.4 OTB iPhone, can I run iplus -u directly on it or should I do something before that?
Thanks.

Is there something I'm missing? I used the standard payload that comes with iPlus - not the international one. Could this be the problem?
Any hint would be appreciated...

Did you restore? If not, you are still at 1.1.2 baseband and it will not work.
Yes I restored to 1.1.4 via iTunes first. The strange thing is, that it worked now for two or three times, and then again it doesn't!?
Any ideas or somebody having the same problem?
Thanx
Stephan

If you have restored your settings, this is a problem with iTunes/iPhone.
Restore and try again *whithout* restoring a backup.
Always set up as a new phone!

Had that problem, too. The owner of certain files was wrong.
First I ran the syncfix, that fixed the crash, but I still had syncing problems.
chown mobile:mobile /var/root/Library/Mail/Accounts.plist
did the trick, as this file had the wrong owner.

instead of killing all itunes processus
maybe it's better to let itunes runs so it won't launch itself during the process
what do you think about that ?¿

Hey Aviegas,
I'd like to know 2 things!
1 - why you don't add the upgrade 4.6 feature to your program ?
2 - How can I check if I'm at 3.9Fake or 3.9 Orig ?
Thanks in advance! I'm brazilian my friend! Congrats for your effort!
See ya!

Interesting observation - whenever I turn off my iPhone and on again, then go directly to the maps and use the locate feature, it won't work.
I have to start any other application first (tested with settings, weather, installer and fon) return to the home screen and then the locate feature works like a charm - as long as I switch the phone off
I don't know if this is specific to iPlus or a generic bug in 1.1.4? Could someone please test it out?
Thanx
Stephan

On clarification:
You will only get a repair needed if the baseband UNLOCK failed.
So, if your phone had a 4.6 bottloader it is now a 3.9FB.

No. It will never touch the stock 3.9 stock bootloader.
