Are people having more problems with iPlus 2.0 than 1.2 or am I just imagining it?
I don't remmeber seeing so many people with issues but maybe I am blind? Anyone got an opinion on this?
Maybe if you can't get version 2.0 to work you should try 1.2 but be aware you may get a "repair needed" message and have to DFU and restore back to 1.1.4 then run iPlus again to fix it.

iPlus 2.0b - 1.1.4 Installation
Just want to make this post to thank AViegas and everybody else (the Dev-team, Geohot etc) that was involved directly or indirectly in making iPlus. Just used it to activate, jailbreak and unlock two iphones without any issues at all.
I must admit that I was one of those lazy people that was using... ziPhone. Using iPlus 2.0b (on MAC via Terminal) was just as easy and made me feel more secure about the whole process.
THANKS AGAIN...
Regards,
Monkey Ass

I have done resetting all and any of all setting rwbooting hundreds of times. I just done know what else is there to do? I am gonna try one more time putting in an non activated AT&T sim and redo the iplus. I still think my activated AT&T account has something to do with the you tube not working.
I'm not a code writer but I think during the iplus process my AT&T activation write the you tube certificate that doesnt jive with iplis activation process.....

I have a solution to activation of your iPhone officially conflicting with the iPlus activation...
Disconnect your internet when you are restoring to 1.1.4 - then iTunes will NOT be able to connect to the internet to check the phones activation and so it will NOT be activated officially.
Then run iPlus and it will activate the phone so everything works - VVM will also work after that has happened but you may require a full settings reset.
I had a similar issue with my O2 iPhone where I tried to activate it although it was already activated and then when I deactivated it using Independence immediately iTunes reactivated it officially!
So solution is to turn off the internet connection when restoring so it CAN'T officially activate and as also set it up as a new phone so there are no other problems.

It's strange that for some people it works flawlessly while others run into issues. How many variables can there be, firmware is 114, iTunes version is presumably the latest, payload.zip must be renamed depending on the pack.
I had a 113 OOB, which was unlocked with Ziphone 2.3 two weeks ago and then restored to 114 with iTunes 7.6.1 and unlocked with iPlus 2.0 with international pack with zero issues. Worked like a charm, I have been using it for some days and everything works.
I had disconnected internet when working with iTunes. I tried getting DFU mode with the 10 second push, but I had the iTunes plus cable logo so presumably I was not in DFU mode for the restore. I didn't upgrade, restored and didn't sync back anything but contacts. As soon as the restore was up, I ran iplus -u with the phone on the slide for emergency screen, a few minutes later it was unlocked and working perfectly. Just before the slide for unlock screen for a second it went to slide for emergency then rebooted and viola everything was done.

Good Suggestions!!!
I just DFU to 1.1.4 with my non activated ATT 3G sim installed.....
I have to pray for a minute before I start this, hope there is a miracle!!!
When I was at work, I found out that itune will only let you get into DFU mode when there is a internet connection!!! I didnt have connection at work and I tried to DFU and itune wouldnt allow it. Well anyhow, I let everyone know how this one goes...
