I think your iPhone is locked, so you have "slide for emergency"... right?
Or have you previously activated, jailbraked and unlocked it?
If "yes" is the answer at 2nd question:
    - what BL have you now?
    - what method have you used before?

    Otherwise:
    1. attach your iphone to cradle or better at usb wire directly.
    2. if itunes start, eject your iphone from itnues
    3. close itunes
    4. kill ituneshelper
    5. prepare your iplus with the correct payload.zip file
    6. from the dos command prompt run
    iplus -u
    7. let iplus do everything (BL downgrade if necessary, activation, jailbrake, unlock, some installations and patches)

    Bye!

    Default :( :( :( ./iplus: line 6: 6237 Segmentation fault

    This is pretty weird..

    I am getting this error:

    ./iplus: line 6: 6237 Segmentation fault ./iphuc -a com.apple.afc -o "getfile ${MSG_FILE}" > /dev/null 2>&1
    ./iplus: line 6: 6250 Segmentation fault ./iphuc -a com.apple.afc -o "getfile ${MSG_FILE}" > /dev/null 2>&1

And after it shows like i have phone connection BUT the slider writes "slide for emergency"
Sure this tool is so safe..?? Have never had problems before!!

Any solution, any one who have an idea what is going on here..???

    Help would be really appreciated
    Cheers Alex

It's recommended if you want to restore them by itunes after iplus.

I'm getting tomorrow an iPhone and I think it's a 1.1.4 otb because it was bought last week. So when I take it from the box should I first put it in DFU mode and restore it to 1.1.4 in itunes before running iPlus because in iClarified's tutorial they say that I have to restore to 1.1.4 in itunes before running iPlus. "Before attempting this make sure you have restored your iPhone to 1.1.4 using iTunes." So should i do a restore or does this only apply to phones which were 1.1.3 otb or lover?
And one more question. When I take it from the box should I put it in DFU mode before running iPlus or it doesn't matter if it's in slide for emergency screen?

    Ok GUYS...

If you get same ore other strange errors here is what to do....

When restoring to 1.1.4 DO NOT do it by just clicking on restore in iTunes.
You will need to download the restore .ipsw and do a alt+click and locate your restore .ipsw file and update like that!!
For some strange reasons your errors (which preventing it from working) goes away!!

PLUS remember to kill all itunes activity including the iTunes helper..
Uhh i was scared for a moment

if it is not a new iphone.. and you used it before (i.e. jailbreaked, unlocked, or messed with it) it is better to do a DFU mode and restore to 1.1.4 first before running iplus.

if it is a brand new iphone and you never touched it. then you can just run iplus and it'll be good.

YOU NEED TO DO A MANUAL RESTORE....
And then go a head follow the tutorial!!
    But look here www.hackthatphone.com
Mark is going to update he's tutorial which is the best method to use with iPlus!

    Cheers Alex

If you need to rerun iPlus - for example if you forgot to put payload.zip in the correct folder - you can safely rerun it as many times as you want.
You do not need to use -u though, and do not use installer to add apps before rerunning.
I can't ignore them. The iPhone stays with this message and doesn't complete the process.

I'll try to manually restore with a downloaded firmware, following the hack that phone site.

You'll see in the update tutorial (the link is the same as before, I just changed out some of the instructions and screen shots), that I also got a seg fault, and I did dfu restore to 114. Everything on the phone works fine as far as I can tell though.
