1. unplug your iphone, Hard-power it off (not the Soft-power off).
2. Power on your iphone again, run iplus one more time. (If it suck at time out again, just ignore, unplug it).
3. Reboot your pc.
4. Hard-power it off your iphone. (not the Soft-power off)
4. Open iTunes, then do the DFU-Restore to 1.1.4 again, follow by another round of iplus2.0b.
I hope this should help.

Tks bro for the effort...will do it now...cross fingers!

That's strange.
Do a Reset All Setting on your iphone to see if it help to resolve it.
Else, something must have gone weired during the process dfu-restore+iplus.
You will have to do it all over again if it doesn't help after Reset All Settings.

1.1.2 OTB > 1.1.3 Ziphone > 1.1.4 iPlus2.0b
Downloaded the 1.1.4 restore and ran it through iTunes. Did the iplus -u on iPlus2.0b. I followed the iClarified tutorial and worked out great! Still testing but no problems so far.
Thanks Aviegas!
