I had OTB 1.1.1 week 39 iPhone and upgraded to 1.1.4
This is seriously the best thing out there right now, it took me literally 4 minutes to complete. No problems whatsoever, I just followed this tutorial:
All my contacts and SMS are still on the phone, it's just the programs that I have to reinstall.
Absolutely the maximum ownage.
Hi everybody, thanks for all the help posted in this forum, newbie here. I do have one problem though. I already restored to 1.1.4 firmware. However when I try to a command prompt and run iplus -u it says that "iplus is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I am using windows xp. Any help is appreciated because I am stuck and can't do iplus -u in command prompt. Thanks in advance for all the help
I have a 16GB OTB 1.1.4 and now it's unlocked.

So i just finished unlocking my OTB iPhone with iPlus and it worked like a charm!
i just have one problem.. i can't seem to get EDGE working.. I have T-Mobile and changed my Sidekick plan to the 5.99 Internet Plan. I tried changing my APN to "internet2.voicestream.com" but it's still not working.. any suggestions??
YouTube and Google Maps also isnt working but im guessing its because EDGE isnt working on my phone. is this correct?
Im also getting a glitch where it shows that i have a new voice mail every time i reboot my phone. is this normal?
so i used this website http://jbwebdev.com/blog/want-edge-o...mobile-iphone/ and now i am able to use Safari, Weather, GoogleMaps (but the locater is off by about 10 miles)
I still cant get YouTube to start working.. any help please?
This post is specially for people experiencing the slow/lag sms problem after using iplus.
As we know, if u r having an iphone with 4.6 original bootloader,
iplus can do the job by doing a 3.9fakebootloader.
ziphone does a REAL DOWNGRADE of bootloader to 3.9.
So if u do not mind being downgraded to 3.9(if u have original 3.9 bootloader, then it's fine), pls go ahead with ziphone and after u have jailbreak, activate, unlock....
-go to http://users.skynet.be/ra045246/
-download PhoneNumber Dynamic Library build 13 (readme for instructions) and replace the files accordingly using winscp (im using xp).
*TESTED and WORKED WELL*
I personally like the 3.9FB using iplus. However, the international payload is causing my sms to be slow/lag if i store a few sms in my inbox. It will take 10+- secs to open up the application. i heard that iplus international payload is using the same PhoneNumber Dynamic Library as from above.
AFTER MANY MANY hours of investigation, i learnt that the PhoneNumber Dynamic Library using in the international payload is the older version but not build13.
It is the "support" folder that is causing the problem.
I jailbreak, activate, unlock my iphone OTB 1.1.4 with iplus(with international payload), then
-download PhoneNumber Dynamic Library build 13 from http://users.skynet.be/ra045246/
-connect iphone using winscp,
-delete off the contents in "support" folder(/System/Library/Frameworks/AppSupport.framework/Support/) from the iphone, then
-copy the downloaded ""AppSupport - Support" contents to the support folder again.
everything working well now!

I have spent many hours restoring, rebooting, searching and investigating etc etc..finally i find the way out! u guys find this post useful, may like to sticky it. thanks!
Can't restore iPhone Software to use iPlus
I have an iPhone 1.1.1 with IPSF.
I am putting the iPhone in DFU Mode using Home + Power Button (10 seconds) and releasing the power button. The iPhone is recognized by iTunes. Then I hit alt/option Restore and select the Firmware 1.1.4 on my desktop.
After that, iTunes shows a message "Preparing iPhone to Restore" and keeps there forever. Nothing happens then.
Tried 3 times with no sucess.
Can I just plug the iPhone to the computer and hit Restore, without entering in DFU mode?
By the way, I'm usiging a PowerBook G4, Leopard 10.5.2, iTunes 7.6.1
can i use iBrickr after using iPlus to jailbreak/activate/unlock?
I just want to customize my ringtones
Hey everyone just reporting back for I have finally takn up the courage to upgrade my 1.1.3 iPhone.
iPlus did the job flawlessly!!! Great program! Everything works, YouTube, Locate Me on Maps, WiFi EVERYTHING!
Big up to Aviegas for the program!
Next up is to update my cousin's 1.0.2, which I know I will have to first "virginize" before dfu-restore.
Thank you so much for your finding and the solution. It works perfectly indeed!
My SMS is opening so much faster now after replacing the iplus' AppSupp with the Build 13 one!
