default payload.zip = 11,677 KB
payload_international.zip = 9055 KB
Guess I am the biggest moron on the site, hehehe. iClarified is serving a different payload file I guess. I will download the one from the original poster.
Thanks a million dtube.

Thank you for bringing it up.
I'm working with slevytam over at iClarify to correct that. The link there was pointing to 2.0 instead of 2.0b.

Stupid question:
In previous versions I used "./iplus -u" in OSX to initiate iPlus.
The readme for 2.0b says "./iplus [-u]"
Is there a difference? Do the brackets just mean the -u is optional, and that the command to use is still "./iplus -u"?
-
Exactly! The actual command is ./iplus -u , check for the screencap of terminal @ http://windows-mobiles.com/?p=221
The best, fast and safest unlock so far! Thanks a ton Aviegas, do you have a donations pool too? I want to mention it on my blog, you truly deserve it and yeah, we have donated to iPhone Devs, its ur turn now! Zibri truly commercialized his version! EVIL!!
Aviegas rocks and so does the Dev team!

Urgent !!
Please read this
Just tested 2.0b + payload_international.zip with a brand new OTB 1.1.3 iphone with bootloader 4.6
- if you are using 2.0b.
- if you take payload_international.zip and rename it to payload.zip
- Then replace the default payload.zip with the one you just renamed.
You may run into a endless spinning circle on pass 2.
Please don't use the payload_international.zip rename method until I complete verifying with Aviegas.
If this turns out to be a false alarm, my apology in advance. But for now, please hold on the payload_international.zip
PS: I was using the wrong payload_international.zip file.
Again, my apology....

I just want to add that I did it that way, and I unlocked successfully. I did get a message a lot of times, a counter from 4 to 0, asking me to press a key to continue, I just ignored it and left the iphone to finish. All is working.

I had this problem as well. I read in the old thread that I should try to re-download the international payload file and did so. There was indeed a difference: My old int_payload file was roughly 9Mb. The new one was about 12 Mb (just a few bytes bigger than the originial payload file). With the new one, everything worked perfectly.

So, reporting second unlock (first one is reported on the closed 2.0 thread)
1.1.3 OTB 4GB Apple refurbished
Steps completed:
1- DFU
2- Shift restore 1.1.4 (iTunes 7.6.1, Windows XP)
3- Simply "iplus -u" (with 2.0b and payload_BR.zip renamed to payload.zip)
5- EVERYTHING FUNCTIONAL
. - Wifi connect ok
. - GSM signal ok
. - Locate Me ok
. - Youtube working flawlessly
. - Installer ok, VT100 nice ok, Openssh ok (Putty connected)
. - Payload customizations ok (PT_BR language, Brazil's carriers settings, Caller ID)
Everything working fine, for the second phone in a row!
Main difference noted for the previous version (2.0) is, indeed, the output in the iplus.log file, which became far more summarized, resulting in a better undestanding of the whole process. The steps made by the application, for the user point of view, are apparently the same.
I still wonder if people's bad experiences with issues like wifi, youtube, no signal, etc., are not caused by some incompatibilities related with prior messing with the phone (Ziphone, IPSF, AnySIM, iNdependence)... this Phone, like the first previously unlocked by me, was just OTB directly for step one above.
As always, it's just getting better.
Thanks Aviegas.
Valeu véio...

I have IPSF unlocked phone. Did a restore to 1.1.4 and ran iPlus 2.0. Worked like a charm, it skipped the unlock procedure so it worked very fast. Mad props to AViegas and others!
