MSN/AIM? PM me If you want to become a Hackint0sh supporter click here. I DO READ PM's
"Just because I'm losing
Doesn't mean I'm lost
Doesn't mean I'll stop
Doesn't mean I will cross
Just because I'm hurting
Doesn't mean I'm hurt
Doesn't mean I didn't get what I deserve
No better and no worse "
Nice! I think i will w8 for the nev ZiPhone!
Zibree: "I just finished working on the baseband.
The baseband is now unlocked and imei patched.
I will now rest a few minutes and start
working on activation.
Stay tuned !"
iNdependence does the ramdisk method far better than ziphone does. Just a few seconds of glancing at the source code of iNdependence (vs ziphone) will convince you. And he does it all without redistributing Apple software too, and without risking bricking your radio cpu.
It *is* Mac only, but it's far superior to ziphone for the Mac.
Does any one if the iPhoneSIMFree unlock sticks and then can activate with iNdependence?

Here are the facts:
- Apple has records of which iPhones have been activated through AT&T. They can bring up this information based on your serial number or phone number AT THE STORE or OVER THE PHONE
Can i use this to use my non-iphone o2 sim for uk iphone?

3) Run iNdependance to Jailbreak and activate.
Question would be:
on point 2) What would the implications be? my BL is 4.6 currently.
and on point 3) If i'm on a legit tarrif I wont need an activation correct just Jailbreak?
I've held off anything for a month or so and got other things to do just after some clarification of the above before upgrading.

... I do respect devs work and I do not want to use ziphone but... c'mon guys... in months the only *real* solutions (frankenstein soft-update? are you kidding? ;-) came from geohot (but I already own a TurboSIM: that has been, for two months, the only solution for 1.1.2 OTB like mine is) or... zibri.

No status updates anywhere: dev's page (I think that one is, now, the official page) still says JerrySim is actively developed whilst, here, Zf_ (I think *he* did) said *forget about and thank Z*.
C'mon... there's plenty of people making money on your work and I understand you, but... there also are many, many other, like me, who respect your efforts and would just unlock their own phone and keep it "reasonably" up-to-date.
C'mon, please: don't let me go the evil way! Don't let me infer that devs are only working for devs whilst "others" are working (or stealing ;-) for normal people!
I managed to unlock and jailbreak my 1.1.4 iphone with a mixture of Ziphone and Independence. It was a bit of a fluke as i had to restore it in itunes and it ended up on 1.1.4:S
Then using both the programs eventualy managed to unlock it to orange and any other network!
