Default [1.1.4] [iLiberty] Please can you help me decipher what kind of iphone i have - iLibe

    Hi,

My uncle gave me and my sister his older iPhone before upgrading to the new iPhone 3G. I have to activate and unlock the older phone with iLiberty.

I have recently DFUed it, because I think I didn't do well the last time I used iLiberty and the iPhone was constantly failing. So I wanted to make things right from now on when installing software and/or applications. Now that it has been DFUed, I can only see that the firmware is 1.1.4. However, I would like to know the original firmware and Boot Loader it came with, so I can decide when unlocking it, if I only go to the Main Menu on iLiberty and "Unlock" it or if I also "Unlock it with 3.9FB".

If I write the following info, can you tell me what is the original Firmware and Boot loader the iPhone originally came with:

    Model Number: A1203
    FCC ID: BCGA 1203
    IMEI No.: 011472006748667

    Kind regards,

    igmolinav

Install the BBInfo Tool from iLiberty+

It'll give you the baseband and the bootloader info.

Plus, iLiberty+ has error checking. So you'll be fine.

    Hi,

Thank you for your answer : ) !!!

    So I only need to:

Activate and Unlock, but definitely NOT to "Unlock with 3.9FB", right??

When you mention, BB Info tool, are you referring to Big Boss ??

Thank you very much again !!!

in order to unlock BL 4.6 you can use bootneuter.

jailbreak and activate with iliberty and then download bootneuter from installer and use it to unlock.

    check it out:
