[1.1.4] I just bought a used iphone with Ziphone
Ok im new to iphones and unlocking. I've been reading a lot about ziphone on these forums and now I'm disconcerted.
What do I do? How do I get this ziphone off and iliberty on safely?
the phone works, but i still dont want ziphone on here if it causes permanent damage.
After all the jailbroken stuff is done how do I get apps, movies, and music onto the phone. Do I just use Itunes? is that safe?

Hi welcome to Hackint0sh.
You did the right thing by reading a lot before blindly Unlock with StronZiPhone.
Just use iLiberty or PwnageTool, check the sticky threads in this section or in PwnageTool section.

if it's on 1.1.4 and the baseband is on 04.04.05_G and the phone is working fine then just leave it like that, dont mess with it.

Hi,
No, the iphone is already unlocked by the previous user with ziphone.
I don't have my own sim card yet, but the previous owner and I tested it using his sim card. Ziphone seems to be working perfectly.
I will read the iliberty stickies. However should I not somehow remove ziphone before using another jailbreak app?
Like a reset.

yes it's working fine. I guess there is nothing to worry about because the risk was already taken.

Make sure, all the functions are working (WiFi, Bluetooth, Edge).
[Warning] Use ZiPhone at your own Risk > Big WiFi issue !!!

yeah, if you start having issues follow XianLi advice, if not i'll recommend you wait until the 2.0 official version is jailbreakable and unlockable to upgrade ( which i believe will be pretty soon after the launch)

wifi works fine.
I dont have edge capabilties...
but bluetooth doesnt look like its working. i keeps on searching without finding anything. My Macbook's bluetooth is turned on. it doesnt see the iphone either.

You can pair them but can't transfer files (no OBEX service...)
The actual iPhone Bluetooth is only able to Pair with Hand free earphone or Car audio system.
