Been a while since posting here, but I was finally able to get my iphone fixed by replacing the commboard. It came back from the shop fully activated, unlocked, with installer.app and wallpaper.app. Everything is working good in firmware 1.1.4 right now, but I have no idea how it was unlocked. Is there anyway to tell? I am assuming it was not pwnage because then there would be a boot neuter logo? Do the unlocks leave any signature saying unlocked by anywhere? Any help is appreciated.

I only ask this so that once 2.0 comes out I will be able to update, and not be worried about bricking.

Check your iPhone's Wifi MAC Address with HWInfo (from Installer) to see if StronZiPhone was here.

I double checked and it is not the one that Zibri replaced it with.

Just curious why I wouldnt check this is the about page in the settings? should that not have given me my mac address aswell?

Anything else I should check? Or should I just not worry about it?

I think the reason why Xian suggested hardware info is because a more detailed read out of whats going on in the phone than the about page could ever tell you. Also you can check and see if your bootloader was downgraded to the older one as that is one of the defects if using ziphones unlock or do it all button.....

Yep its a bootloader 3.9 with modem firmware 04.04.05_g. So its probably been ziphoned?

Yes chances are on StronZiPhone.

ZiPhone does not change the mac address, just if you use the Wi-Fi fix.
Just use BootNeuter to re unlock.
