Default [1.1.4] Cannot Restore...Stays on 'Waiting For Phone' forever

    Hey I got a iphone.

I cannot restore it, it starts going through the steps and then goes and says on "waiting for phone", it will stay there for hours.

I think the baseband may have been deleted and that may be causing the issue Any help on how to fix this.

    Thanks Guys!!!!

i had that at one point.

Just enter restore mode, restore to default firmware. Then use pwnage tool again. If you get the 2001 error after a failed restore, restarting my mac and updating itunes helped.

This is because your phone model is week 47>... am i correct? Ive had this issue before with my girlfriends, and decided to not go to 1.0.2, and just virginize from 1.1.1. Get on 1.1.1 if you can, and download the virginizer files from installer. Once its done, go ahead and restore AGAIN to 1.1.1 and your baseband should be virginized. If all else fails, i GUESS you could use zibraphone, and select the virginize baseband option<<wait now that im thinking, why do you want to even get on 1.0.2?! I KNOW thats what your trying to do, and phones week 47 and beyond always give you "waiting for iphone", its pointless waiting for hours lol

Yes and i am going to make a donation ASAP... TO MYSELF! lol jk im not that good, donate to LAW :p peace

you don't have to reinstall itunes. Because if you restore your phone in recovery mode, you not get any result form it. Like libBen said iphone week 47 can't restore back to 1.0.2 since you already have BL 4.6 installed. My suggestion is that put your phone in DFU mode then plug it in computer then hit "restore and update". You should get no "error". If you get any error like "16xx" or "1". Use others computer and try again. If else use different USB port in your computer. Good Luck.
