[1.1.4(1.1.1OTB)] EDGE is always on
Current status:
1.1.4FW

4.04.05G
I got a 1.1.1OTB unlock/jailbreak/activated to 1.1.2 then 1.1.3 all using guides here. when i was on 1.1.3 EDGE is always on in Services, everything i turn it off the reception bar will shrink then goes back to normal, but EDGE turns back on when i click on Services again, then i install BossPrefs, i turn EDGE off and it stays off, but in Services it is still on. i used Ziphone to 1.1.4 and the problem is still there. does anyone knows any ways to fix this? is there another way to find out is EDGE is on or off since Services and BossPrefs is giving me different answers?

Uninstall services app.
Turn edge off in Bossprefs.
Turn WIFI off.
Open safari. If edge is off it will ask you to connect to WIFI.
First ever Apple product I bought : iPhone.

Even if you don't have data package with ATT,your EDGE is still on.
ATT will charge you pay per use for EDGE usage.
Do you get the same message with WIFI turned on?
