About LinkBacksHey everyone,
I've been looking at the unlock methods and I noticed that people in Germany are unlocking T-Mobile phones because they want to use another service. Likewise, here in the US, I am unlocking an AT&T phone because I want to run on T-Mobile.
I find myself wondering: Is it possible to get a hold of German-based firmware and install it on my iPhone? Would this allow me to use my T-Mobile USA sim in the phone without unlocking?
I am off to Apple Germany to see if there's a Germany specific firmware file. If anyone has tried this, I'd love to hear the results.
