[1.1.4 (1.0.2 OTB) ][Problem] Can't jailbreak.
I've tried with iLiberty, ZIPhone, and iPlus. None have jailbroken my iPhone. I've jailbreaked/unlocked on 1.0.2, 1.1.1, and 1.1.2 with little problems. I thought things were getting easier with all of these one click programs doing all the work, but I guess I was wrong. The search function isn't working, so I couldn't research my problem. Is it just me, or is this a common problem? It wasn't addressed in the tutorials.

... And what happens when you do try to to jailbreak, installer jus dosnet show up or what ?

The processes go through (except for ZiPhone. For ZiPhone, it says it's endlessly transferring files to the phone.) and after the final reboot, I'm back at the screen with the iTunes logo and the iPod plug.

I was hoping it wouldn't come to me having to restore (upgrading keeps your apps and settings, right?), but I suppose it's much better than a useless paperweight of an iPhone. I'll post how it goes.

I wouldn't suggest upgrading unless you know what your doing. That's why most other guys say its bestto start from a fresh phone then take it from there so that way you won't have to worry about a clean up. Dfu restore just to be extra safe.....

The post I read suggested upgrading then using iLiberty to activate/jailbreak. Guess it was a mistake to listen to him >_>. It worked out. Thanks for the help.
