All it takes is for you to killall SpringBoard or install a new app via installer.app (and after the installation the Installer kills the SPB for itself) in order to lose the values in Usage.

Try it, let it full charge, then kill the springboard, (use Erica's Uictl or Respring if you don't know how to do it manually), then look at the Usage, it will show: --

Although ziphone is a piece of crap, and everything you already know about it, it is not part of this issue.
