    Yes...It no longer fires up....

    Its jus stays the way it is......But this behaviour has started to happen only today... till yester day it was getting charged like normal.

    Now i am also wondering what will happpen once its current battery is consumed...

    will it ever charge

    I take it you haven't been too rough with the phone? I would suggest a short sharp suck on the charging port of the phone, don't blow as moisture may get into the port which isn't good

    WOW!!!

    this is a bad news...its not even getting charged from the Wall unit...I can sense the magnetic/electric vibration in my hand while it is plugged to the wall unit.

    But No it does not show charging....

    While the other iPhone is getting charged just fine

    this is not good, it would seem as though you may have caused a short that has now screwed the charging port. I hope that this is not the case. Methinks we may need a hardware expert in here.

    EDIT: What if you gently wiggle the adapter or pull it out very slightly?

    EDIT2: just read elsewhere that a soft reset may help with charging issues, worth a try

    I have belief that this will charge..but its only gonna do so once its present battery completely drains out and it goes off.

    Coz this is what i think happened a couple of days back ...not sure though...
