    Unhappy [1.1.3] ZiPhone Bricked my Phone =(

    Ok so i have a very odd situation here...

    I had 1.1.1 unlocked using anysim 1.1, and some i updated to 1.1.3 through iTunes. however when that was done, my phone was already activated somehow. So i tried to just jailbreak and unlock with ZiPhone, it took longer than 2 mins...and now my phone is stuck on the apple booting logo.

    Is my phone completely dead or is there something i can do?

    Thanks (I tried searching..couldn't find anything like my situation)

    What happened is normal. If you were jailbroken and then upgraded to 1.1.3, you phone remains activated UNTIL you reboot it (and that's what you should have done before running ZiPhone).

    Anyway, in order to have your phone back, I believe you just need to put it into DFU mode and restore to 1.1.3 again.

    TurboSIM-like methods? No way.

    - Unlocked Week 47 1.1.3 iPhone, baseband 04.04.05_G.
    - Bought in Minneapolis, MN;
    - Currently on TIM carrier.

    I'm not here to find help. I'm here to help others and give back what I've learned from Hackint0sh.

    hold the sleep button and the main button, let the sleep button go after 10 secs but keep holding the main button. the phone will look dead but you will here the usb sounds going off. it will go into restore mode with nothing on the screen.

    dude, you have to follow the instructions. Is this phone a 3.9 BootLoader or 4.6BL? If you bought the phone with 1.0.2, or 1.1.1 on it then its 3.9, otherwise anything newer is 4.6

    And by the way, you're probably on bootloader 3.9. Being that, you CANNOT unlock it with ZiPhone. You can only Activate it and Jailbreak it.

    To unlock your phone, you need to use AnySIM 1.3

    The bootloader remains untouched. iTunes does not mess with your bootloader. So you can chill.
