[1.1.3] Wireless problem
I searched a lot but couldn't find the info i wanted, too many threads/posts
So:
i updated to 1.1.3 with latest script and the only problem i have (beside the google maps location) is that every time i set-up the wireless connection and i exit the settings screen the connection drops.
In fact everytime i manage to connect an application to wifi if i leave that app connection drops. That means i cannot stay in springboard and use ssh.
Is there any fix for this problem?
Thanks!
PS: have summerboard installed and used JohnTool to disabe it's power management.

i had the same problem. because i installed a tool to fix the settings. after two days there was a warning to not install this program.
MY Solution was to restore to 1.1.1. then oktoprep(i think its included automatically in the new installer)-then update to 1.1.2 then jailbreak, then installing the turbosim, then soft upgrade to 1.1.3 through installer following this instruction: http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=611
iPod 5G 30GB - black
iPhone Week 49 - jailbroken, TurboSIM
everything works fine FIRMWARE 1.1.3

Have you try Reset Network Settings (Setting-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings) The second things I did after updated to 1.1.3 is to reset my network setting, everything is working now.
1.1.1 OTB -> 1.1.2 = 100%

... Wi-Fi disconnection is supposed to happen when going into sleep mode. It's a feature on iPhone to save battery.
Apple sucks.
Microsoft rules.
TurboSIM-like methods? No way.
- Unlocked Week 47 1.1.3 iPhone, baseband 04.04.05_G.
- Bought in Minneapolis, MN;
- Currently on TIM carrier.
I'm not here to find help. I'm here to help others and give back what I've learned from Hackint0sh.

laurev: Last week I upgraded from 1.1.2 to 1.1.3. Now I have the same problem as you. I did not find a real solution solving this problem but this may help (until we'll have some patch): when you loose the wifi, turn off then on iphone again, start the program (which need internet connection) then wifi connection window will pop-up so you can use again wifi until you are inside the program. (maybe a good choice to turn off auto shut down to "never")To use SSH, go into settings/wifi, start your connection but do not quit to springboard as it is not necessary.
