Before I start I just wanted to say I know that I know this topic was beaten to death before. But that was about speaker volume. I tried to search on how to make the handset louder when you are talking on the phone. I upgraded to 1.1.3 from 1.1.1 in hopes of the sound not being a problem. Thanks in advance!

you need to convert the file using plutil on mac.
i.e. plutil -convert xml1 RegionalVolumeLimits.plist

open it using a text editor, make your changes and convert it back to binary format

plutil -convert binary1 RegionalVolumeLimits.plist

upload back to iphone.

always make a copy just in case

For windows convert the .plist file using http://140.124.181.188/~khchung/cgi-bin/plutil.cgi, then change value from 0.83 to 1. Then copy it back to your iPhone.

so it would just be a file that you put into the iphone?

i am sorta confused, sorry for all the noob questions. i greatly appreciate the responses/help!

from my understanding (windows):

1. download the file the first guy posted up
2. use the link you just left to convert the file
3. place it in itunes to put into the iphone?

This is only for jailbroken 1.1.3 correct???
