1.1.3 Soft Upgraded - 3.9 BL - Correct Method for upgrading BB?
There's a few things I'm a bit confused about regarding Geo's upgrade - some of which I have found but I still can't find some answers...
I have a 1.1.3 soft upgraded (DevTeam Official) phone with a 3.9BL and a 04.02.13_G BB.
What is the best way to upgrade my BL? Is it to officially upgraded to 1.1.3 via iTunes then use the Installer method to unlock the 4.6BL? Or can I simply upgrade the BL via Installer (iClarified) then run Geo's unlocker?
Any info most welcome!
Oli

You are confusing BB with Bootloader (BL)
If you have 3.9 BL then that is what you have. You can not change that with itunes or anything.
The 04.02.13_G Modem Firmware is the BB (Baseband)
You are wanting to get the new BB which is 04.03.13
I would update via iclarified. I did it that way and it is working fine.
Then you can either unlock via 1.3 anysim or Geo Hots IPSFTOOL
You cannot use his other tool (gunlock) on the 3.9 BL (Bootloader)

Thank you for your info!
I realised after I had posted that I had confused the two! I have now edited the post accordingly.
Thanks again!

can you update unlock iphone 1.1.2 (3.9 BL) by itunes to 1.1.3 then using anysim 1.1.3 to unlock your phone or do i have to do soft upgrade to 1.1.3-then baseband upgrade to 4.03... then unlock with anysim 1.1.3
thanks
