Exclamation [1.1.3] SMS's Have Wrong TimeStamp-Rogers-Canada-Friends Phone As Well As Mine !

[1.1.3] SMS's Have Wrong TimeStamp-Rogers-Canada-Friends Phone As Well As Mine! Help!

As the title says, both my friend and I are on 1.1.3 on Rogers Wireless in Ontario, Canada. All our sms messages have the wrong time stamp. All our sms's have a time stamp of 4 hours before the actual time. As a result of this, messages are showing up completly out of order, for example if I send him a sms, and then he responds, his response will show up above the original sms I sent him, even though it should be below my original sms.

Is anyone else having this problem? The time stamps were working correctly all threw 1.0.2 to 1.1.1, but now its not. Ive tried changing the time zone settings on both our phones in the general settings but it doesnt help. Im not sure if its our phones or if its our wireless provider. It was all working before so im not sure what happened.

Anyone have any similar problems and if so, did you find a fix?

    Thanks!!

1.1.4 does not fix this, it is a Rogers network issue.

The ordering problem of 1.1.3 was fixed, but 1.1.4 has something wrong with some networks yet. I have no problem with all the sms I receive from Sweden, but when somebody from abroad sends me a message, the timestamp is wrong eventhough we're in the same time zone.

It has to be something related with the timestamp in the header of the sms, because in most of the networks I've no problem, but with Vodafone Spain, all timestamps of the messages I receive are wrong.

I tried even changing the time zone in the iphone settings to make it match but it doesn't work, obviusly when those timestamps are right, then the messages that I had already received ok become wrong. So I still haven't found a way to solve that, but it's not a big deal either...

btw, I read that some Nokia N-series have the same issue.

Yeah I dont know why this is happening. For the last 6 months or so after upgrading and unlocking every new firmware version that came out and using it on Rogers Wireless, all my sms time stamps were fine. However now both a friend of mines iphone has the wrong time stamps as well as mine. Ill try putting 1.1.4 on both our iphones tommorrow and see if that fix's it, ill post in this thread with an update.

I had the same problem using Fido on 1.1.3 in Canada. I went to 1.1.4 and the problem went away.
