    Talking [1.1.3] Reversing Geohot's IPSF

Here is the guide to reverse Geohot's IPSF Style Unlock(3.9BL):
Credits go to crackn for compiling the files/the original guide, and the makers of iUnlock/Geomaker.exe

    Before you begin:

On your iphone, you will need:
    BSD Subsystem
    OpenSSH
    MobileTerminal

On your computer, you will need these files:
    h**p://rapid_share.com/files/92361455/Revirgin_IPSF.rar.html

Step 1:Extract the zip file from the download above to your desktop

Step 2:Copy your original seczone file(this should be 8kb in size) to your desktop

Step 3: Make sure it has a .bin file ending, and rename it to seczone.bin

Step 4: Run geomaker.exe to generate the loader "seczone.bin_loader"

Step 5:Use WinSCP/CyberDuck to copy all the files from the .zip to /usr/bin/clean
    These Are:
    ICE04.03.13_G.fls
    ICE04.03.13_G.eep
    403secpack
    bbupdater
    iUnlock
    norz
    seczone.bin_loader

    Step 6:Enable Airplane Mode

Step 7:In MobileTerminal, run the following commands:

    cd /usr/bin/clean

    chmod 755 *

    /bin/launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

    ./iUnlock 403secpack seczone.bin_loader

    ./norz seczone.ignore 0×3FA000 0×2000

    ./norz seczone.revert 0×3FA000 0×2000

    ./bbupdater -f ICE04.03.13_G.fls

    ./bbupdater -e ICE04.03.13_G.eep

    ./bbupdater -v

    /bin/launchctl load /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

Step 8: Exit MobileTerminal, and disable airplane mode

    Step 9: Reboot, Done!

I have just tried this and after the reboot i still have service from my carrier which should be incorrect. Can you verify that my seczone back up is valid? I will PM you with my email address and then i can send you the file if you respond.

    Would appreciate the help!!!

Yes it is the correct size and has been confirmed by you.

We need some help here from Crackn as i have followed these steps to the letter and the IPSF crack is resistant to this fix. After installing and running signal.app service is restored.

The other george out there did a pretty good "what does the ipsf style unlock do" step by step guide and posted the steps to reverse it. Try this one: http://george.zjlotto.com/index.php/...040313_g-bl39/ maybe that will help you guys.

Btw, may i ask, why you want to reverse the ipsf style unlock? Any news about it not working in further firmware/baseband upgrades?

    Good luck.

Because zibri states in his blog, that the ipfs and geo ipfs does not work with ziPhoned devices. If we can´t upgrade to 1.1.3 through itunes and then jailbrak and activiate with ziPhone, ipfs is useless. So if this even does not work with 1.1.3 what about 1.1.4+ ?
