Default [1.1.3] Question: I want to fully refresh my phone (situation inside)

I have a 1.1.3 (BL 3.9) iPhone, unlocked etc.. using iBrickr method. All I want to do is restore back to a fresh 1.1.3 and unlock using Zi's method and reinstall all of my apps in their proper locations.

Can I simply do a restore in iTunes and then use the new GUI or do I have to downgrade to a certain version etc, etc...

Any help would be great THANKS!!

Can an unlocked, activated, and jailbroken v1.1.3 OOTB iPhone be restored using online iTunes "Restore" after running ZiPhone? I accidentally deleted AppSupport and now the phone stays at the Apple Logo screen.

Why couldnt it? I don't know why everyone is so paranoid about restores after ziphone. Of course you can always restore.

You can find the original 1.1.3 AppSupport here:http://users.skynet.be/ra045246/

    1.- Download Build 10
    2. Unzip it and open the folder "phonenumber_dylib_build_10 Folder"
3.- Inside of this folder there are another two folders: 1.1.2 and 1.1.3
4.- Open folder 1.1.3 and you find the original 1.1.3 AppSupport.
5.- Upload this file (erase first the word Original) to your iPhone: System/Library/Frameworks/AppSupport.framework/

Guess I am a newbie so I was afraid an iTunes Online Restore might brick it completely as it might have detected that the phone is not on AT&T, is unlocked, activated and jailbroken. Pardon me... just like to confirm before proceeding.

So I'll try to do an online restore.

I have the original AppSupport file but the problem is I'm stuck at the Apple Logo screen so am unable to proceed further.

I think you the best way for you is to restore to 1.1.3, don't be afraid to do that, it is better than to be stuck at the Apple Logo screen, dismiss any message about the sim card.

    Hi again,

I would really like to thank all of you for your invaluable help!

I managed to restore to 1.1.3 using the ipsw file and ran ZiPhone successfully!

It gives me more confidence for a Windows user to start using an Apple product!

    Cheers!
